Kevin Curran

Obituary of Kevin Peter Curran

CURRAN, Kevin Peter – Age 67, of Stillwater Lake, died suddenly as a result of a lightning strike to his home on Friday, March 26, 2021. Born in Minto, NB, he was a son of the late Chester and Doreen (Gallagher) Curran.

Two words to describe Kevin.  Humble and Kind. Kevin was a graduate of Saint John Institute of Technology as an Electronic Technician.  He stayed true to his field and worked in several businesses over the years. He retired in 2014 after a lengthy career at L-3 Communications. His love of travel took him and his wife to such places as:  Puerto Rico, Cuba, Roatan, Saint Thomas, Barbados, Aruba, Cayman Island, Paris, Ireland and London. His passions were motorcycling, boating and his many friends. He held a yearly hope that “this was going to be the year for the Leafs to win the Cup.” His collection of all things Leafs was a constant sense of pride for him. Especially important to Kevin was his time spent at his summer cottage on Lake Mush-a-Mush.

Kevin is survived by his soul mate, best friend and partner in life of 36 years, Linda (Rhodenizer) Curran; daughter, Farrah Lynn Curran (Kevin Bevis), Hammonds Plains; brother, Thomas (Joyce) Curran, Quispamsis, NB; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant sister, Sharon Curran; brothers, Paul, Bill and Jerome.
