Obituary of Frank Elwood O'Brien Sr.

O’BRIEN, Frank Elwood Sr. – Age 86 of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Regional Hospital on April 25, 2021 after a long battle with C.O.P.D and other complications.

Frank worked at the Atlantic Fiberglass Plant in Mahone Bay until he retired due to health issues. He loved the outdoors fishing, feeding the birds and any stray that might come along. He also played guitar on the radio in his younger years.

Frank is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Banks) O’Brien, Bridgewater; daughters, Wendy Arenburg, Upper Branch; Linda (Ransford) Naugler, Middlewood; Darlene (Wade) Croft, Camperdown; son, Frank O’Brien Jr., Bridgewater; brother, Gary (Darlene) O’Brien, Back Center; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father, Erlston Wright O’Brien; mother, Hazel Gertrude (Naugler) O’Brien; brothers, Ervan, Stanley; sister, Joyce.
