Obituary of Linwood Michael Zinck

of Linwood Michael Zinck 51, Meisner Section, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008 in New Germany. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late William and Doris (Fancey) Zinck. He was a former member of the New Germany Volunteer Fire Department, New Germany Softball League and the bowling team. Linwood was a skilled woodworker, enjoyed playing bingo, cards and gardening. Surviving are his wife, Marlene (Bleazy) Zinck; sisters, Susie (Jack Vanvolkensburg), Napanee, Ont; Bernice Savoir, Dartmouth; Marilyn Hubley (Victor Moore), New Germany; Heather (Sandy) MacPherson, Concord, Alb; Holley (Richard) Bailey, Veteran, Alb; brothers, Mervin (Eva), Brenton (Melissa), all of New Germany; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, William “Billy” and David. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany and where a Service of Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Catherine Robar officiating.
