Kathy was a cherished friend for many years, and one of the first people my husband and I met after moving to the LaHave area in 2001. She possessed a fine sense of humor, a quick wit, and an appreciation for the beauty of coastal Nova Scotia. Kathy enjoyed singing with the South Shore Chorale, participating in Elderfit classes, and lunching at the River Pub, where she was a much-loved customer and personal friend of the owner and staff. Our thanks to them, for making Kathy's life brighter these last few years. To all who knew her well, she was a treasure, and will be greatly missed. Ellie Burt
