Obituary of Duncan Ervin Keddy
KEDDY, Duncan Ervin – Age 91, of West LaHave. Duncan passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Henry and Alice (Dorey) Keddy.
Duncan had two passions in life, his wife, Ruth and hunting. He eagerly awaited hunting season and could tell many stories to anyone who visited. Fishing was also a hobby that he enjoyed dearly, he loved gardening and spending time in the woods. He also dabbled in woodworking, making many small projects and some boats. He loved the company of others and made many friends through his volunteer time at his church, the Pleasantville Fire Department, IOOF, and the local cemetery.
Duncan is survived by loving wife, Ruth; sons, Barry (Grace) Keddy, West LaHave; Kevin (Melanie) Keddy, West LaHave; grandchildren, Mathew (Mallory Haley) Keddy, Cookville; Amanda (Nathan Oakley) Keddy, Tantallon; Ryan and Megan Keddy, of West LaHave. He was predeceased by brother, Harry and sisters, Nellie, Sadie, and Jennie.
