Obituary of Kevin Arnold Baker

Kevin Arnold Baker 53, Voglers Cove passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 at the South Shore Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Arnold and Lena (Hartfield) Baker. He will be remembered as an extraordinary cook and a loving and kind son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Susan), Dartmouth; Michael, Conquerall Mills; Gregory, Voglers Cove; and Darren (Elizabeth), Whynotts Settlement; also by several nieces and nephews, Robert, Charity, Sarah, Devon, Crystal and Richard. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews as well as other family members. He was predeceased by his brother Richard. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 11am Monday, April 13 in St Albans Anglican Church, Voglers Cove, Rev. David Phillips officiating. No flowers or visitation by request. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
