Obituary of Coryl Margaret Bergeron
Coryl Margaret Bergeron
74, of Bridgewater, the family of Coryl Margaret (Morash) Bergeron are deeply saddened with her passing in their arms on August 26th, 2009, at South Shore Regional Hospital. Coryl was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and close friends. She was a homemaker, often found leafing through one of her many cookbooks from which she loved to cook and prepare meals for her family. Born in Bedford, N.S., she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Morash. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by sons, Laurent (Shirley), Roger (Pamela) both of Dartmouth; daughters Linda (André) Baril, Pontiac, QC, and Nathalie (Jeff) Sheculski, Summerside, PEI. A most loving, wonderful Grandmother to Dominique Bergeron, Guillaume and Jean-Philippe Baril, Brenton and Quentin Bergeron and Kaitlynn Sheculski. Coryl is also survived by sisters Mildred (Victor) Jordan, Barss Corner and Dale (Fraser) Betts, Dartmouth, brother Blair (Linda) Morash, Calgary, her extended family members Wayne Morash, Sharyn Hennigar, Linda Proudfoot, several nieces and nephews. Coryl was predeceased by her brother James Morash, and her very special baby girl Helen. Coryl was a kind, caring person who was most happy when doing for others, expecting nothing in return. Her happiest moments were shared when with family, friends and children. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday 31 August 2009 in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater with Father Gordon MacLean officiating; reception to follow, thereafter a private family burial at Sims Cemetery in Simms Settlement. We give thanks to the homecare workers, visiting nurses and staff of South Shore Hospital for the excellent care given to our Mother during her long illness. Angels do walk the earth, a special thank you to Audrey Stoddard, a wonderful lady that was always there for our Mom; and Coryl’s friends for their support and many visits. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Lung Association or The Daisy, South Shore Regional Hospital. On-line condolences may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com.
