So sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. Had known him for many years. Always enjoyed our conversations and horse trading. My deepest sympathies to the family at this time of great loss.

Greetings, I am writing this on behalf of Mr. John Prichard. He and Bruce got to be sort of chummy over the past two years. They met at Soul's Harbour open kitchen, and later would talk on the phone and meet up with each other at the community cafe in the Lutheran Church. We would listen to him talk about his wife who was in a nursing home. I know that this was a source of great grief for him...His son in law would kindly give John a ride home after the dinner. Bruce would take John for drives when he still had his van. When Bruce lost his driver's license, John was there to lend an ear to his lament. Bruce was very smiley, talkative and kind to us both. When Bruce got a scooter, we were both pleased to hear that he would have some of his freedom back. When he had his accident, we were both concerned. It seems that things sort of went downhill after that for Bruce. It is with great remorse and sadness that we have both learned of Bruce's passing so late, today, on the 29th of December. John had been missing his phone calls...John will miss his friend.

We will always have good memories of all the conversations we had with Bruce and Nancy at the shops -- first in Bridgewater and then in Mahone Bay -- and at their home in Bridgewater. We often met them at the Saturday morning yard sales as well. If we needed anything, all we had to do was tell Bruce or Nancy and in a very short time they would have it for us. We will miss you Bruce...

To Bruce's family
My deepest condolences for the loss of Bruce. I remember that we used to call him "Sonny"! I also remember walking through his shop across from the Mill gate, looking at the goodies he had. A looong time ago. I haven't seen him for years but he was part of the family all the same. Rest in peace, first cousin.
