33 years ago I stayed briefly at the Argyll Inn awaiting the birth of my daughter...I also worked in the dining room as a waitress. When my daughter was born, Karen was one of my first visitors. She bought me roses and the cutest baby outfit. When I went home Jim popped in to see baby and told me if I had any trouble with anything to let him know. I remember when I worked in dining room, he had a little league team in the motel. There were probably 15 or 20 of them and they all ordered eggs of some sort. Jimmy was cooking with Joan they wanted the food to all go out at same time...8 had my tray with like 6 peoples food on it and I was going through some swinging doors that separated the kitchen from dining room. I didn't quite make it through door. It jarred my tray and eggs went every where. Jimmy could have gave me he'll but he didn't say a word.. He simply recorded the orders. I offered to pay for the orders I dropped but he took it in his stride. He was a great boss. So sorry for the loss of your dad, brother and granddad. Carry him in your heart.
