I played many games of bridge against Sylvia over the years at Bridgewater and Liverpool bridge clubs and loved doing so. She was an able player, a very warm person, always a delight to be around. Her fellow bridge players missed her when she finally stopped playing several years back. I send my condolences to her family and friends.

Brian, Brenda, Richard, Anna, Renee.....Please accept my condolences on Sylvia's death. She was, as you perhaps know, a life-long dear friend of my mother(Pauline Veinotte), and our parents spent much time together. In their later years, I had the pleasure of being with them as 'kitchen help', chauffeur.... for some of their Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile adventures. It was fun to be in her presence, hear some of her stories, enjoy conversations with her, and to her speak with such joy of her children and grandchildren. My thoughts will be with you as you gather to give thanks for her life.
