Obituary of Sherry Lynn Veinot

VEINOT, Sherry Lynn – Age 50 of Bridgewater. It is with great sadness that the family of Sherry Veinot announce her passing on Saturday, June 4, 2022. She fought a long battle with cancer beginning in May of 2017.  

Sherry is survived by the love of her life, Wally Silver, Springfield; paternally by Ron C. Veinot (wife, Pat) and their families; maternally by uncles, Joey (Donna) and Fred, both of Springfield; maternal aunt, Lillian Silver of Ontario. She also left to mourn many cousins and their families whom she loved dearly and are too many to mention. Sherry was also survived by her nephew and niece, Lucas and Samantha Edwards, New Brunswick, whom she also loved dearly.

Sherry was predeceased by both her parents, Ronald F. Mcbain Veinot and Marilyn Darlene (Silver) Veinot; both her paternal and maternal grandparents; her maternal aunts, Jewel (Silver) Drew and Audrey (Silver) Swinamer; her beloved brother, Paul Andrew George Edwards.

A huge thank you to Dr. Young and Dr. McNeil and their nurses at the Dixon Center, QEII; Dr. Heather Robertson and many other doctors and nurses at the SSRH. Dr. Lennox and Nancy, The Rose Fund and finally the various cancer care navigators, Dr. Gowan, Nolene, Dr. Caldeira, Dr. Saile and the palliative care staff at the SSRH. You all made this journey much easier for Sherry.

To all my friends. This is not goodbye but see you later. I love you all very much. To Wally, you are my Rock Olive Juice……until we meet again, I love you most.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev. Dr. Aaron Kenny officiating. An interment will be held following the service.
