Obituary of Frederick Francis Chambers

Frederick Francis Chambers 90, Meisners Section, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Brooklyn, Hants Co, he was a son of the late George and Evelyn (Sanford) Chambers. He was a retired employee of Nova Scotia Power. Surviving are his daughter, Joan Moore, New Germany; Darrell (Mabel), Meisners Section; George, Bridgewater; sisters, Edith Levy, Newport Station; Joan Turple, McPhees Corner; brothers, Gordon; Harley (Ruth), all of Newport Station; George (Molly), Brooklyn; Ronald, Windsor; Lester (Shirley), Dartmouth; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former, Lovey May MacDonald; daughter, Jean; grandson, Richard; great grandson, Jason; son in law, Sherman Moore; daughter in law, Violet Chambers; sisters, Marguerite Dahr, Geraldine Hunter, Gladys Murphy; brothers, Don, Arthur, Howard. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family service will be held with Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating, burial in Epworth Cemetery, New Germany.
