Obituary of Tammy Marie Nickerson
NICKERSON, Tammy Marie (Whynot) - Age 42, died unexpectedly July 4, 2022, in a tragic accident along with her son Thomas (17), his sister Rosemary (18 months), and beloved beagle Rosco (18).
While the family and friends are shocked by her death, they are grateful to have had their lives touched by such a kind-hearted, beautiful person. Tammy was born January 3, 1980 and attended NSCC for Culinary Arts following her graduation from North Queens Rural High School. Shortly after graduation she and Kevin Nickerson married and had two beautiful children. She was a loving parent, devoted to seeing her children Renee and Thomas succeed in life. She enjoyed the beach, dogs (rescuing and sharing info to find them homes), the paranormal, and watching Doctor Who and Bob’s Burgers. She loved collecting snow globes and Peanuts memorabilia, especially Snoopy.
The family enjoyed Christmas cards and when they could send them she always wanted to ensure everyone was included.
She was always warm and friendly to those that interacted with her. She always welcomed her children’s friends into the home and cared for them as if they were her own. She was a compassionate person and, despite health problems, didn’t hesitate to offer support to those around her, whether human or animal.
Tammy is survived by Renee Nickerson, loving daughter; Kevin Nickerson, long-time spouse and best friend; Hayden Peverill, nephew; Kimberly Whynot, sister. Predeceased by parents Merrill Whynot and Janet (Conrad) Whynot; beloved pets Bruno and Charlotte.
