Obituary of Bruce "Brucie" Larry Veinot

Veinot, Bruce Larry – Age 67 of Hemford, passed away July 17, 2022, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with family by his side. Born in Hemford July 27, 1954, he was a son of the late Carmon and Flossie (Smith) Veinot.

Bruce was a kind, caring and adventurous person, always on the go. He especially liked all his machines and kept them in top running shape.

Bruce will be sadly missed by Adam, his “special son”, and all his loving family. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Hazel, Beverly (Dolly), Laverne (Bruce), Gladys (Ralph), Richard (Thelma), Leith, Linwood, Merlin (Laurie), Carroll, Cheryl, and Iris (Vincent). We will always miss you, “Brucie”. He will also be remembered by his special brothers, Wilfred, and Gregory Lyons. Rest peacefully, Bruce.

He was predeceased by mom and dad, Flossie, and Carmon Veinot; grandparents, Ephraim and Mary Veinot and Faye and Lucy Smith (Ninevah); sisters, Rose, and Evelyn; brothers, Harold, Leon, and Dwayne.

Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m., Friday, July 22 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10, New Germany. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, August 12 in Hemford United Church, Hemford.
