Jim, I'm so saddened to hear the passing of Monika. So glad we had the chance to see both of you not long ago. We had so many fun times together. Working together, camping trips, day trips with all the kids and just chilling - we always had a laugh. She'll be forever in my heart.

Nothing prepares you for the loss of your mother. She will be on your mind constantly over the days and weeks to come; but trust me, eventually you will awake one day and smile at your memories with her. Until then, endure and cry and live.

My memories of Monika are from so long ago they are faint. But one memory clear to me is from your wedding day. Monika looked so radiant and openly shared her joy. I remember thinking how blessed you both were to have found a perfect fit. Please know you and the boys will be in my prayers and thoughts.

I just heard the devastating news of Monika's passing & to say I'm beyond shocked is an understatement. She was such a sweet person & I hold so many wonderful memories of you both. I had such a great time with her & her mother when we saw 'Joseph' in Toronto. A hi lite of my life still. I'm so very sorry Jim & thinking of you & your children at this time. I remember your wedding & how you balanced your personalities so well. You never know what life has in store. Sending much love to you all xo
