Obituary of Monika Walker

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monika Walker (nee Ellinger) age 58 on November 1, 2022, at home.  We are still in disbelief that someone so special was taken from this world.  Monika was born in the Czech Republic on May 16, 1964, to Eva and the late Frank Ellinger.  She came to Canada when she was three years old.  Monika grew up in Orillia, Ontario, and moved to Nova Scotia with her husband and three boys in 2003.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  Monika was the beloved wife of James Walker.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, Rylan (Allyssa), Lukas (Emilie) and Alexander.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.  A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev.
