Obituary of Merle Arthur Cook

Merle Arthur Cook 71, Lower Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away on November 12, 2009 at home. Born in New Canada, he was a son of the late A. LeRoy and Vera C. (Conrad) Cook, Lower Branch. He is survived by brothers; Carlton (Pauline) Lower Branch; Carroll (Janet), Crouses Settlement; sisters, Fern (Ivan Conrad) Upper Branch; Cheryl (Wayne MacKay)Upper Northfield; Susan, Carleton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Lyman. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A public graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday in the Hillside Cemetery, Branch LaHave. Arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. No flowers by request.
