Obituary of Lennis "Lennie" LeRoy Wentzell

WENTZELL, Lennis LeRoy “Lennie” - Age 73, of Ron Street, Bridgewater, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Lennie was the foster son of the late, Mabel and Clarence Conrad. He grew up in Upper Branch with his foster brothers and sisters. Most of us remember Lennie from around town. I'm sure most of us have a “Lennie story” to tell from a conversation you had with him.

He is survived by foster siblings, Teddy Conrad, of Andover, Maine; Ronnie Conrad, of Upper Branch; Vaughn Conrad, of Auburndale; Virginia Drew, of Upper Branch; Garth Haskell, of Bridgewater; Robert Kinckle, Upper Branch; and Josie Randell, of Toronto, ON.

Besides his foster parents, Lennie is predeceased by his foster brother, Ivan Conrad.

Rest well Lennie, you will be missed, and if there is any Canadian tire money in heaven, I know you will find it... There was a lot of people that showed him much kindness and helped him out a lot. Thank you.

A Celebration of Life will be held in May, 2023, in New Canada. No flowers. Memorial donations in memory of Lennie may be made to the Inter-Church Local Food Bank.
