Grace Evangeline Corkum 89, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2009 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater. Born in Baker Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Frank T. and Elva M. (Wentzell) Carver. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater. Surviving are sisters, Myrtle Taylor, Barss Corner; Barbara Penney, New Germany; Catherine Alford, Nepean, Ont; brother, Hiram (Ruth) Carver, New Germany; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Ralph, a daughter in infancy; brother, Frank; sister, Mary Height. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service 10:30 a.m., Friday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Rev. Robert Coote officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
