Obituary of Esther Catherine Bond

BOND, Esther Catherine - age 103 of Bridgewater N.S., formerly of Hebbville N.S. passed away on June 10, 2023, at Parkstone Home for Special Care Halifax, N.S. She was the daughter of Caleb and Annie (Perkins) McLean, West Clifford, N.S. Esther is survived by her daughters, Louise (Leslie) Mackie, Kelowna, B.C., and Jane Manuel Young (Joseph Young), Bedford, N.S. She was predeceased by her sons Herbert, of Belleville, Ontario, and John, of Rush, N.Y., U.S.A. She was also predeceased by her husband Everett, Hebbville, N.S., grandson, Wayne Mackie, Ottawa, Ontario, son in law Russell Manuel, Lower Sackville, N.S., and companion John Hubley, Hebbville, N.S. Cremation has been completed, and a private committal service will be held at a later date in the Hebbville Community Cemetery, Hebbville, N.S. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater Senior Wheels Association, Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, or the Daisy Bridgewater.
