Obituary of Toni Lorraine Ernst

ERNST, Toni Lorraine – Age 66, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., died unexpectantly along with her husband, Clarence Eugene Ernst on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Maitland, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Toni was born on March 22, 1957 in Bridgewater to the late Frank Maxwell and Shirley Kathleen (Ramey) Wile.

Toni was employed in custodial services within the retail business during her working years.

Surviving is her son, Ryan (Tasha) Ernst, and grandson, Gabriel Ernst all of Eastern Passage; brothers, Patrick Wile, British Columbia; brother-in-law, Martin Demone, Bridgewater; nieces and nephews, Natasha Demone, Cory (Jennifer) Demone, Madeline, Jackson, Zachary, Rachel (Ian) and great-nephew, Isaac.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Janice Demone.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 28 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. Service of Remembrance for Toni and Clarence will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, June 29 in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, #25 Phoenix Street, Bridgewater, with Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
