It’s very sad to hear about Tom’s passing. He has such a charming smile and way about him. Bernie always enjoyed his get- togethers with you guys, and his time at the scout camp with Tom. My deep sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Pat my deepest condolences on Tom's passing and I hope you will manage the sadness.
I worked very closely with Tom from 87 to 92, when I retired from Teleglobe.
I found him to be very fair, balanced and kind, always dependable and trustworthy.
Tom - May you rest in peace

Dear Pat: I was shocked to hear the news of Tom's passing, and so very sorry to hear it. Tom was one of the backbones of the Bridgewater Garden Club, and his time as Treasurer was a testament to his dedication to the club and its members. I always enjoyed his ready smile and sociable attitude....a thought came back to me as I was thinking of him after getting the news.....I remembered inviting a friend to the provincial garden club show held here in Bridgewater several years ago, and Tom was nursing a very sore back...this was evident when he moved.....after the show was over, I left to take my friend home, and then returned to assist with getting tables and chairs cleared....Tom was right in there helping to do this, despite the fact that he was in pain.....I never forgot that gesture.....I last saw you and Tom some months ago at a grocery store, and never realized that would be the last time I saw him. It is nice to think of people as a friend and as a loss to you when they are gone. I am thinking that way tonight of Tom, and regret we will not have a chance again to chat and enjoy the time together. Please take care of yourself, and know that Tom was a person who everyone loved and appreciated. Our sincere condolences to you, Pat.

Dear Pat, We were so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I spent most of my career with Teleglobe Canada either working with Tom or working for Tom. When he left the DMS we were all disappointed and missed him greatly. Training courses with him were always fun, especially when the gang from the Burnaby Station were there. A lot of great memories. I remember Tom and some of his scouts spending a week me me and my scout troop at Camp Tamarcouta. Some really good times. All our sympathies to you and the family. You are in our hearts and prayers. Ron and Patti Zemancik

Pat I am so sorry to hear of Toms passing , Tom was a great man he was always there to lend a helping hand whether it be at our Garden Clubs flower show or cleaning up the vets park at the cemetery and also the plant sale for the garden club . I will miss meeting up with him whenever I would go shopping it was always nice to to have a chat with both Tom and Pat whether it was a short chat or one that we would reminisce about things for a lengthy chat I would always take the time to chat regardless of what I had to at the time . Tom will be greatly missed to those that knew him . Sending condolences to Pat and the rest of hi family and friends.

Pat and family. I am so very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He brought such joy with him to Garden Club. His knowledge was wonderful. I remember when we had the team challenge on gardening trivia and he was hands down bringing his team to a win. I see from the wonderful obituary that the competitiveness has always been part of his past. I loved to hear his stories, especially the one of coming to Quebec Canada and not realizing that he needed snow tires. Tom was always the first one to volunteer, and we had great chats while weeding the Veteran's Park. I loved his accent.....made everything he said more interesting. Where ever Tom was, Pat was, whether it was in a story shopping, decorating the Christmas tree at the 4H park, or in Garden Club events. And Tom loved BLUE just like me. We often said there were not enough blue flowers in the world. At the last Flower Show, I prepared a blue arrangement, and thought of Tom when I was doing it, thinking he would love it. I was so pleased when he was on the Entry Desk so I could show him. He loved being "pickle". Those dear grandbabies will miss their grandfather. I am again, so very very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to Pat, and the rest of the family. Hugs!!
