I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was my principal in West Northfield. He was very kind and supportive to me as a new teacher and I was so appreciative of that. I also loved his sense of humor!
My sincere condolences to his family.

John was a regular Saturday morning
customer at the Blockhouse Post office
when I worked there. We had some very intense and interesting conversations. I thoroughly enjoyed our chats and missed him when I transferred to another office.
I lost touch with him but I never forgot our conversations. My condolences to his family.

I first met John when I moved to East LaHave and my children attended Riverport School. I volunteered there and he was very encouraging of my desire to obtain an upgrade of my teaching qualifications and later, when a teaching position became available, welcomed me on staff.
John was my principal again when I transferred to Newcombville School. He was always very supportive and interested in the welfare of the children in our care.
My sympathies to his children and grandchildren.

John was my principal at Newcombville Elementary. I came to know and respect him as a kind and caring man who was always extremely positive and supportive. Although I worked with him for only one short year, John always took a moment to say hello and share a story, no matter where we ran into each other in the later years. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of this fine individual!
