Obituary of Alden Andrew Allen DeLong

Alden Andrew Allen DeLong 81, Lower Branch, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Barss Corner, he was a son of the late Charles and Leola (Barkhouse) DeLong. Surviving are his wife the former Hazel (Oickle) (Veinot), Lower Branch; step son, Larry (Sandra) Veinot, Union Square; step daughter, Lynn (Darrel) Hebb, New Brunswick; sisters, Ruth (Don) Christian, Va; Esther (Don) Mills, Pictou; Minerva Nicolls, Voglers Cove. He was predeceased by brother, Ivan. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 11 a.m. Tuesday, in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Eric Campbell officiating.
