Obituary of Lillian Mae Boyd

BOYD, Lillian Mae – Age 91, formerly of Mahone Bay and Chelsea, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Ridgewood Assisted Living, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Harry Leroy and Maude Irene (Weagle) Wentzell.

Surviving are her daughters, Susan Boyd, Bridgewater; Ann Roberts, Halifax; sons, Gregory Boyd, Bridgewater; Michael (Lorraine) Boyd, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Amanda (Tyler) Jacquard, Harrison Boyd and Evan Thibault; great-grandchild, Kairi Jacquard; a nieces and three nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Austin Boyd in 2007; and a brother, John.

No visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 27, in Dayspring Cemetery, Dayspring. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to the Inter-church Food Bank.
