Obituary of Meghan Elizabeth Nowe

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Meghan Elizabeth Nowe, 33, of Bridgewater. She passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at the QEII hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

Meghan was born January 3,1991, in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Alan Nowe and the late Jacqueline Printz.

Meghan was a graduate of Park View Education Centre. She has a beautiful daughter, Kaydee that she loved very much. She was living in Canaan but had just moved to Halifax to start a new chapter in her life. She had a great talent for makeup and nails. She had a great love for animals especially her cats. She loved music, dancing, hunting, fishing, and photography as seen in her many pictures and selfies. Usually with her sunglasses on.

Meghan was a beautiful girl inside and out. She was an old soul with a unique sense of humor. She had an infectious laughter which always made everyone laugh with her putting a smile on their faces. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. She was a light in our lives, a beautiful shining light that will never be extinguished. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. She left a lasting imprint that will be forever in our hearts and her memory a cherished treasure.

Meghan is survived by her partner, Jeromy Myler, Halifax; her father, Alan Nowe, Fort Fraser, BC; her daughter, Kaydence Nowe, Bridgewater; grandfather, John Rose (Karen Oickle), Bridgewater; aunt, Denise Printz (Bill Swim), Wileville; cousin, Angelique Bastian (Dana Dupille-Brown), Bridgewater; godmother, Vanessa (Derick) Hubley, Calgary, AB; aunts and uncles, Tim (Lisa) Nowe, British Columbia; Cheryl (Pete) Jensen, New Brunswick; Jeffrey (Linda) Nowe, Cherry Hill; Melanie (Craig) Conrad, East Port Medway; mother-in-law, Judy Joudrey, Halifax; sister-in-law, Julia Eldridge and her daughter Leah, Halifax; best friend David Wagner, Bridgewater. Also, numerous cousins, family & friends.                                

She was predeceased by her mother, Jacqueline Printz and stepfather, David Zwicker, formerly of Bridgewater; her sister, Allison Nowe, formerly of Bridgewater; her grandparents, Joan Rose, formerly of Bridgewater; Patrick Printz, formerly of Florence Wisconsin; Chester & Shirley Nowe, formerly of Cherryhill.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.

Family and friends of Meghan’s are invited to visitation on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.  Rev. Vivian Moores officiating. Family and friends are invited to a reception following the service at Sweeny’s to celebrate Meghan's life. Burial will follow at 1 p.m., in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Meghan’s life.
