My condolences go out to Keith's family. Whenever we met that is what we talked about was family, not DFO. He will be missed. I am sorry that I can't be there in person, but I have been thinking of him often. He is a person I will not forget. He was always a gentleman.

Dear Veinot family,
So sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. As Chief of Enforcement for the Maritime Region , he was a well respected and calming presence when dealing with difficult fisheries matters. And he was always willing to support everyone’s children’s fundraisers for sports , music, and other good causes.
You can tell we miss you already, Keith .

Though we were in different DFO units, I rarely missed a week talking with Keith. He was calm, thoughtful, and dedicated. I once asked Keith of cottages for rent near south shore. He quickly said, “you can have mine, as we wont be using it for a couple of weeks”. Keith wouldn’t take a cent in return. He said that our enjoyment was payment enough for him. RIP Keith. Condolences to family

We were very sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. Leo and Keith go back quite awhile with Fisheries. On a more personal level, your home was the host to our Christmas tradition of picking out the perfect Christmas trees, which followed with a visit.
So glad to have met both Keith and you, Sandy. He will be missed.

Very sad to hear of Keith’s passing. While we were only colleagues at DFO for a few years he was one of the officers you could always count on to do the right thing. I was very proud to call Keith a friend.
Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Sandie and Family,
I was so saddened to read Keith's obituary . I think the last time we were all together was at Chris Tipert's 50th Birthday party. I have fond memories of the happy times we spent together at New Germany Rural High School. Keith was a very gentle gentleman.
I'm sure you will all miss him terribly. Life will be forever changed. My most sincere wish is that the love and support of your family and friends will be a constant source of comfort in the coming days and weeks as you begin to learn how to live your lives without Keith. May God bless each one of you with whatever your hearts need most.
With sincere sympathy,
Linda (Sarty) Powell
