The Hirtle Family were my neighbors growing up and I have so many fond childhood memories that will forever be cherished. I can see George clear as day with his orange hard hat while he hauled us around on the wagon with his tractor. What a day that was! Much Love to the Family. It a sad, day to here about are buddy Gorge when I meet him 14 years ago it seem I meet him forty years ago he made welcome we had a lots of laughs at garden Rd fire sure was his favorite sayings did a alot small jobs for him just like any time he was the forman he could sharpen a saw and split kindling I c though he was a smooth operator for sure the flame will always be in are hearts everytime I light a fire god bless we will miss you John and Linda Dwyer

My sincere sympathy in the loss of George....a man who liked to laugh and have fun, but who also had a serious side. Lawson and I appreciated and loved both George and Sally, and so often they opened their home to us. We enjoyed so many good meals with them when we ministered in Lapland. I will not forget their kindness to us....we suffered much together, especially during Sally's illness and death. I am sure that now the three of them (Sally, Lawson and George) are happy to be united in Heaven, and are rejoicing in their reunion. Adrienne, although I did not know you as well as Sally, I appreciate how well you accepted George's family and took care of him...always seeing to his needs and taking part in his interests. To Terry, Bonnie and Tracy, as much as you will miss your dad, hold fast to your memories, and remember, he loved you all. In the good times, smile; in the bad times, share one of his jokes with a friend, and even if that makes you cry, know that you will be okay. God bless you all, hugs and prayers. Cora

Adrienne, Tracy and families. Cherish the memories you have and shared with George and they will help bring contentment in the coming days. We were surprised to get the call that George had passed away, even though we knew he had been in failing health, he was a fighter. To say he will be missed would be an understatement. George and I shared a lot of memories from our younger days, memories that I will cherish forever. He was my Uncle but over the years at times I also thought of him as a brother. I met George and Adrienne, quite a few year ago and was happy to meet the Hirtle side of my family. My sister and I felt like we were home when we entered the house. George and his wife took time to show us the old homestead and introduce us to many of our relatives in the area.
