Obituary of Gregory Richard Novak

NOVAK, Gregory Richard – Born September 15, 1980, Gregory Richard Novak was able to mean so much to so many. He was the much loved husband of Heather, loving son of Gudy and Mike Novak and treasured brother to Corrina (Zach) and super fun uncle to Ethan and Abby.

Gregory lived a good stretch of his life in Mississauga, Ontario, and worked in the restaurant industry before he picked up and shipped out west to Calgary, Alberta, to work in sales management. It was in Calgary that Gregory fell in love with and married Heather Forsey. With his unfortunate diagnosis of ALS they eventually moved out east to Chester, Nova Scotia, for Gregory to find some beauty and peace in his last years. He loved storytelling, music, movies and, of course, his dogs. He will be remembered for the tremendous loyalty and support he gave to us all and for his quick wit and absurd sense of humour that always kept us laughing and always brought us together. We love and miss you, Gregory.

No flowers accepted. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ALS Society of Canada. Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
