Obituary of David Wayne McDonald
McDonald, David Wayne - Age 65, originally of Enfield, NS, passed away November 2 2024 peacefully at his residence, in Newcombville, NS. He was the son of the late, James and Jessie (MacLeod) McDonald.
He is survived by sons, Cody (Rachel) MacDonald, and Darcy (Sarah) McDonald; grandchildren, Peyton, Dalton, and Lincoln McDonald; sisters, Karen (Herbie) Hunter, Nancy MacDonald; brother, Jimmy MacDonald, sisters-in-law, Darline (Arthur), Elaine (Billy); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Arthur Kennedy, Billy McDonald and John McDonald.
David was an active community member of Sipekne’Katik First Nations. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his children, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. David had many jobs over the years but enjoyed driving dump truck and running heavy equipment the most.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 10th, at 1 PM, in Hebb’s Cross, NS (please contact Darcy McDonald for further information). Internment at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
