Obituary of Etta Alice Maude Gillmore

Etta Alice Maude Gillmore 97, of Upper Chelsea, passed away at home on July 25, 2009. Born in Port Medway, she was a daughter of the late James Arthur and Marina Alice (Baker) McConnell. She is survived by sons, Richard (Donna), Bridgewater; Duncan (Pearl), Edmonton, Alberta; Frank (Violet), Moosenee, Ontario; Ingram (Helen), Buckhorn, Ontario; daughters, Kathryn Bowman, Toronto; Emily Croft (Wilfred), Buckfield; Judy Gibson (Jim), Port Perry, Ontario; 34 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ingram; son, Fred; brothers, Mac (Olaf), William (Bill), Keith, Hugh, Herbert, Donald; sister, Dorothy. A funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday July 30 at the Chelsea Baptist Church, Rev. Dennis Nickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Chelsea Baptist Church or the Maple Grove Cemetery. No visitation at the funeral home by request.
