Gene, I am so sad for you and your family as I think about the loss of Jackie to you all and also I am sad for those of us who were friends and musical buddies. I finally got your names straightened out and am now able to introduce Southwind on my radio shows with Jackie instead of Gene. That was a running joke with the three of us and I loved being teased about that crazy mistake. Jackie was a special bass player and musician. We do appreciated his joining Southwind, Ron and others sharing his talent on the Hank Snow stage for our many fundraisers or shows. His quiet personality hid a side of fun that was evident to his friends. He is missed by so many but I know Gene, you will miss him as he showed us his love for you as you supported him and his love of music. Thinking of you and sending hugs. Condolences to you, his family, his friends and his musical family.
