Obituary of Sheila Anne McCarthy

With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family announce the passing of Sheila, age 70 in the early morning hours at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Sheila lived in Conquerall Mills for 25 years, then moved to Hebbs Cross on the Conquerall Road, by the lake.

Sheila is survived by her mother, Grace McCarthy, Wileville; sisters, Isabelle, Bridgewater; Marie Oickle (Bruce), Lower Branch; brother, Roger, Conquerall Mills; her great-nephew, Adam whom she raised as a son; also her nieces and nephews Lisa, Chris, Rose, Alena, Eli, Natasha and Brittany and their families; three aunts and many cousins and friends.

Sheila is predeceased by her father, George McCarthy; brother, Michael in infancy and her niece, Natasha.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Conquerall Mills Community Hall, 27 Crousetown Rd, Conquerall Mills. Reception to follow service.
