Obituary of Gladys Pearle Keddy

Gladys Pearle Keddy 81, New Germany, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 in Northwood Center, Halifax, where she had been residing. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Mary (Mossman) Leary. She was a member of Epworth United Church, New Germany. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are nieces, Eva Leary, Margaret Weaver, Mona McGillvary, Barbara Lohnes, Emily Ritcey; nephews, William Leary, Chester Weaver, Ricky Leary, Frankie Leary, Ellison Leary, Henry Leary, Renie Leary. She was predeceased by sister, Alice Weaver; brothers, George, Melbourne, Max. Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday in Epworth United Church, New Germany. Rev. Dale Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Epworth Cemetery.
