Obituary of M. Marjorie Lacey

M. Marjorie Lacey 62, Bridgewater, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, where she had been residing. Born in Larry’s River, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Marion (Richard) Pettipas. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Kim), West Northfield; Steven (Angela), Pleasantville; grandchildren, Michelle, Madison, Emma, Aselin; brothers, Eldred, Donahue Lake; Peter and Rennie, both of Larry’s River; Ambrose, Halifax. She was predeceased by husband, Leon Lacey. Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral mass 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater. Father Joseph Christensen officiating. Private family burial to follow in Ascension Lutheran Cemetery, Conquerall Mills. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of choice.
