Obituary of Howard Lemuel Langille

Howard Lemuel Langille 86, Barss Corner, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Barss Corner, he was a son of the late Moody and Beatrice (Allan) Langille. In his younger years he worked as a carpenter in the local area where he lived all his life. He took great pride in the Christmas tree Lot which he developed. Howard was a kind and generous person who for many years lovingly cared for his invalid and aging parents. He had a keen mind and was well-known for his creative inventions and ability to repair most anything that needed "fixing". His hobbies included photography, reading and music. Howard was a past member of Barss corner Baptist Church. He is survived by nieces, Jackie Eisener, Barss Corner; Sharill Jodrey, New Germany. He was predeceased by his brother, Ira Langille. It was his desire to donate his body to medical research. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to Barss Corner Community Hall or Indian Brook Cemetery.
