Obituary of Nora Catherine Legge

Nora "Dolly" Catherine Legge 74, Farmington, Lunenburg County, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late William John and Nora “Dolly” (Simpson) Ferguson. She was an avid card player and enjoyed bingo. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time on her four-wheeler. Surviving are her husband, Everett; daughter, Katherine (Wayne) Conrad, Pleasantville; son, Wayne (Heather) Legge, West Paradise; sisters, Joan Vincent, Lower Sackville; Gloria Johnston, Calgary; Patsy Duprey (Danny), Greenwood; Jeannette (Bob) Banks, Beaver Bank; grandchildren, Melissa, Cynthia, Stacy, Thomas; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Joyce Hirtle; brother, Bill Ferguson. Visitation, 1-2 p.m., Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Anna Hoeg officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
