Obituary of Herbert Leon Mailman

Herbert Leon Mailman 96 of Midville Branch passed away Saturday 27 June, 2009 in Mahone Nursing Home Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County. Born in Midville Branch, Lunenburg County, he was the son of the late Hallett and Adelia (Smith) Mailman and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his daughter Charlotte (Vaughn) Lohnes, Lower Sackville; sons Bernard (Gloria) Mailman, West Northfield; Clement Mehlman, Halifax; Arden (Anne) Mailman, Midville Branch; grandchildren Michelle, Gregory, Mitchell, Brock, Nicholas, and Stephanie; great grandchildren Brooke, Jessa, and Cole; niece Paulene. He was predeceased by his wife Marjory, brother Ira, and sister Gertrude in infancy. There will be no visitation by request. Interment will take place at 1 pm Tuesday in the Midville Branch Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2 pm in All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombville, Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
