Obituary of Germaine L. MacArthur

Germaine Lia MacArthur 97 of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County passed away Monday 16 March 2009 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. We pass on to the Lord a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Her family was her whole life and she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all. Born in St. Philppe, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Albini and Angeline (Proulx) Lamarche. She is survived by her son Allan (Deborah) MacArthur, Bridgewater; sisters Helene (Jean) Melancon; Gabrielle Derouin; Suzanne Joly and Sister Isabelle Lamarche, all of Montreal; brothers Benard (Rita) Lamarche, Montreal; Real Lamarche, St. Jean Quebec; grandchildren Robert (Julia) MacArthur, Donna-Lyne (David) MacArthur-Newby; Jennifer (Christopher) Macaulay; great grandchildren Madison, Nicholas, Annabelle, Dominic and Hannah along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert; son Neil, brothers Roger and Jules. Cremation has taken place under the direction of C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
