Obituary of Paul Joseph MacKay

Paul Joseph MacKay 61, Bridgewater and Halifax, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009 in Q.E. II Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late J. Arthur and Annie (Silver)MacKay. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Upper Northfield, an associate member of Royal Canadian Legion, branch 102, New Germany. Surviving, brother, Paige (Carolyn) MacKay, Bridgewater; several cousins, locally, and in the United States also many friends. Predeceased by brother, Freddie; sister, Esther MacKay. Visitation for family and friends, 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday in Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. A private family burial in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield will follow.
