Obituary of Freda Barabra MacLeod

Freda Barbara MacLeod 89, of Mahone Bay and Halifax, passed away December 16, 2009 in the Arborstone Nursing Home, Halifax. Born in Mahone Bay, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Guida (Ham) Richardson of Mahone Bay. She is survived by her sister, Helen Ernst, Bridgewater and niece, Shelia (Ed) Boylan, Bridgewater. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald P. Turner; second husband, William “Bill” MacLeod; brother, Wilfred “Buddy” Richardson, all of Halifax and a brother, Douglas Richardson of Mahone Bay. In keeping with Freda’s wishes, cremation has taken place, no visitation and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
