Obituary of Jacob A. Noonan

Jacob Alexander Noonan 17, North River, Lunenburg Co., died as a result of an accident in Springfield on Wednesday May 27, 2009. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Daniel and Shelly (Russell) Noonan. Jacob was currently a grade 12 student of New Germany Rural High School. He was a part time employee of New Germany Irving. He loved fishing and hunting and was always willing to help anyone. Besides his parents, surviving are sisters, Danielle, Barss Corner; Megan at home; brother, Jerimah (Jeremy), Dartmouth; niece, Ocean-Leigh; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Maternal grandparents, Cheryl Langille, Bridgewater, Gerald Russell, Dalhousie; paternal grandmother, Ruth Noonan, Spryfield. Predeceased by paternal grandfather, George Noonan. Visitation, Sunday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10 New Germany. Funeral 3 p.m. Monday, June 1st, in New Germany Rural High School gymnasium. Pastor Percy Lake officiating. Private family burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, North River. Family flowers only. The Jacob Noonan Memorial Bursary Fund will be established to which donations may be made to.
