Lewis Baxter Pentz 83, Camperdown, Lunenburg County, passed away on January 26, 2009 in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. He was born on June 3, 1925 and was a son of the late Robert and Evangeline (Nowe) Pentz of Pentz N.S. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served with the Merchant Marine. He is survived by wife Barbara (Crouse), Camperdown; sons, Ross (Carla), Bridgewater, Dick (Linda), Bridgewater, Alex (Joanne), Camperdown; daughter, Barbara (Andy Hirtle), Mason’s Beach Rd; sisters, Marguerite, Phyllis and Elizabeth; brother, Earl; grandchildren, Paul Benning, Jorel Pentz; Georgia Kelly (Jeff), Don Kehoe; Jared, Jenna Pentz; Tashina Weagle; Emma, Lucas and Abbie Pentz, great grandchild; Cullen Kelly Besides his parents, he is predeceased by sisters, Isabelle and Beulah; brothers, Carl and Ross. Funeral will be held 11 AM Friday, January 30, 2009, in the Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown, Rev. Catherine House officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
