Obituary of Phyllis A. Rhodenizer

Phyllis A. (Leggie) Rhodenizer 97 yrs old, passed away Thursday December 24 at the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater in 1912, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Effie (Wentzell) Leggie. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Phyllis was a very active member of the OES (Order of the Eastern Star), Rebecca Lodge, Bridgewater United Church, The Women’s Institute and the Senior citizens Group. She is survived by her son R. Stewart Rhodenizer and wife Barbara (Mailman) Rhodenizer; granddaughter Pamela Jane (Nelson) husband Mark Nelson, Dayspring; grandson R. Steven Rhodenizer wife Lana (Dimetreau) Rhodenizer, West Northfield; great grandson Nathaniel Steven Rhodenizer, Upper Northfield; great granddaughter Brianna Sophia, West Northfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Raymond; her parents; brother Emerson; sisters Jessie and Effie. There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday December 27 in the Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
