Obituary of Verna Alexandria Robar

Verna Alexandria Robar 95 of North River, Lunenburg County, passed away Thursday 20 August, 2009 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in North River, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Hazel (Veinot) Robar. Verna was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North River and loved talking to her friends and family about times gone by. She was a wonderful wife, a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially by her only daughter Marilyn and son in law Ralph. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Ralph) Morgan, North River; grandson Richard Martell, Halifax along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas; grandson Franklyn Richard Faulkner; daughters Vivian and Ola; sons Vincent, Delma and Ira; sisters Ada and 2 in infancy; brothers Oscar, Alvin and Maurice. There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held 1:45 PM Saturday, 22 August 2009 in Epworth Cemetery, New Germany, Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating.
