Obituary of June Adelia Seamone

June Adelia Seamone 90, of Timberlea and formerly of Liverpool, passed away November 2, 2009. Born in Chester she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah (Croft) Redden. She was a keen gardener and during her years spent in Liverpool she was an active member of the Liverpool Curling Club. She enjoyed spending her summers at her cottage in Greenfield with family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a son Paul (Cathleen) Seamone, Dartmouth; daughters, Marion Seamone, Centreville, Kings County and Christine (Reginald) Rankin, Timberlea; grandchildren, Aneta (Randall) Prime, Coldbrook; Angela (Gerrit) Whitney, Halls Harbour; Crystal (Cory), Marianna, Lower Sackville; Paula, Halifax and George Seamone, Waterville; Lela (Brad) Williams, Tucson, Arizona; Iain Rankin, Ottawa, Ont. and Carole Rankin, Halifax; great grandchildren Nicole and Ryan Prime, Morgan and Brandon Whitney. She was predeceased by husband George, daughter Carole in infancy, brother Weston Redden; sisters Una Redden, Marion Stevens, Lois Giffin, Edith Nauss, half sisters; Leta Brown, Bertha Wickwire, Georgina Brown. Visitation will be held Friday November 6 at 1 p.m. followed by funeral at 2 pm, both in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Rev. Lisa Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Assoc. of Nova Scotia, P.O.
