Obituary of Muriel Edith Seamone

Muriel Edith Seamone Peacefully, at Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, December 14, 2009. Born August 28, 1917, in Voglers Cove, to Spencer and Grace (Conrad) Mason. Dearly beloved by brother, Elmer Mason, Bridgewater; her daughters, Sandra (John), Ottawa, Sharon (Alan), Charlottetown, and David (Brenda) Iqaluit; her grandchildren Simone (Lawrence), Matthew (Susan), James; her great grandchildren, Isaac, Zoe, Tiffany and Madison. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; brother, Robert, sister, Inga. Muriel was an active participant in the Bridgewater volunteer community, being a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, ACW and choir for over 50 years; hospital auxiliary, as well as being an avid Duplicate Bridge player and South Shore Chorale member. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, with Rev. Ron Appleton officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. A reception will be held at Holy Trinity Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memoriams may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or Alzheimer’s Society.
