Obituary of Yvonne Mae Smith

Yvonne Mae Smith 61, Conquerall Bank, Lunenburg County, passed away on January 1, 2009 at home. Born in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred Perry and Elaine (Ellis) Allen. Surviving are her husband, Denton; daughters, Melissa (Ashley) Joudrey, Fauxburg; Tanya Smith (Rickey Lavender), Bridgewater; Bridget Smith, Conquerall Bank; son, Daniel Smith, Conquerall Bank; sisters, Phyllis Ellis, Calgary; Linda Yates, Vancouver Island; Barbara Doane, Shirley Boundreau, both of Yarmouth; Jane Sawler, Lower Branch; brother, Bradford Allen, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Austin Lavender, Hayden Lavender, Ethan Lavender; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step father, Bradford Allen and a sibling in infancy. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 11 a.m., Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Interment at a later date in Beaver River and Port Maitland Cemetery, Yarmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
