Obituary of David Taylor

David (Charles) Taylor 62 Formerly of Bridgetown, NS, now residing in Bridgewater, NS, ended his short battle with Cancer on Tuesday, July 28th. Born in Lower Clarence, Annapolis County. He was the son of the late Robert and Idella (Grant) Taylor. He was an active parishioner of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, a Knight of Columbus, fourth degree and was also involved in many other charitable organizations. David was a dedicated employee of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg for the past 17 years. He is survived by his wife of 37 yrs. Sandra (Robicheau) of Digby, his son David L. Taylor of Halifax, his daughter Lisa L. Symes (Todd) of Bridgewater and his son Marty J. Cress (Amanda) of Aylesford. “Grampie” will be missed greatly by his four grand-daughters Lauren, Mia, Calley and Angela. David is also survived by his siblings: Garnet (Linda), of West Paradise, Alberta Spurr of Bridgetown, Gertrude (Ralph) Bent of Granville Centre, Wayne (Joy) of West Paradise, Richard (Norma) of Lawrencetown, Daniel (Dorothy) of Wilmot, Deborah (Raymond) Fiske of Middlefield, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 4th 2009 at 1:00pm, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater NS. Father Joe Christensen will be presiding over the service. Family flowers only.
