Obituary of John Gilbert Theriault

John "Jack" Gilbert Theriault (Sgt. Retired) 75, Bridgewater, passed away January 16, 2009 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Frank and Olive (Boylan) Theriault. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Armed Forces. After retirement, he was employed with MacKenzie’s Bus Line as a bus driver. After that he was employed with Ben’s Bakery. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (MacDonell); son, Roy (Dayana); daughters, Jean and Mary; granddaughter, Jessica; sisters, Frances Doucette, Celeste Meehan, Mary MacDonnell; brother, Frank (Ann). He was predeceased by a brother, Gerald. A funeral Mass will be held 11am Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Father Theriault officiating. Burial will be in St’ Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. No flowers or visitation by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St’ Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Bridgewater Interchurch Food Bank.
